I found myself at Place Sainte-Geneviève with Saint-Étienne-du-Mont
It was open and free to go inside, so I decided to go in and have a look around. This is a roman catholic church built in the 1500’s in the French Gothic and Renaissance styles.
The ceiling reminded me of all the other gothic churches I’ve been in during my travels.
The tomb of St Geneviève (patron saint of Paris) is in the church. I must admit, I find these things a bit creepy.
