China 2016 – Day 4 – Hong Kong – Part 3 – 15 November 2016

Sheung Wan Trams

My 4-year-old nephew is obsessed with any mechanical means of transport, so I thought I’d get the double-decker Hong Kong tram so I could tell him I’d been on one. As it turns out, I went on plenty during my stay, as they were really convenient and cheap.

The tram I got on first went to Whitty Street Depot, where I got off and then caught a tram in the opposite direction to Central Station.

I got the train from Central across the harbour to Jordan Station, where I went to the Temple Street Markets. They reminded me of pretty much any South-East-Asian market I’d been to before in Thailand and Vietnam. They also had some weird food that I couldn’t help but take photos of.
